So, it turns out that the Encyclopedia Britannica Kid is the son of ... are you ready for this? ... Stan Freberg. How could the man who produced the ingenious "Christmas Dragnet" also produce that waste of skin? And if that's not enough, Mr. Donovan Freberg was also a voice on the Get-Along Gang cartoon series, which was nearly as bad as Shirt Tales. Ugh.
