I want to be a booker.

I just dissolved a whole morning reading about pro wrestling history on Answers.com.
We all know about "jobbers" and "angles," but have you heard of the "Dusty Finish" or "smarks"? Have your heard of the "Muta Scale"?
Did you know that Johnny Ace and Road Warrior Animal are brothers? Did you know that Ken Patera did jail time for throwing a boulder through a McDonald's window? Did you know all this about Gorilla Monsoon?
This list of match types is extensive, but not at all comprehensive. The "Indian Strap Match" is conspicuous by its absence.
Comments
I stand corrected! Indian Strap Match is indeed included, but is listed under "Strap Match" and "Texas Bullrope Match." Hot damn!

That's quite a list. The only thing I could find missing was the Iron Miner's Glove Match, although the Coal Miner's Glove Match is on the list, and that's pretty much the same thing.

I watch Smackdown every Friday night. I am fascinated by the Luchador tradition, as carried out by my favorite wrestler (and apparent lifetime jobber) Rey Mysterio. The guy does some stuff that would make Jackie Chan do a double-take. Until replaced with a new one, he also had the coolest theme song ever..."Who's that jumpin' out the sky?"

One match I'd never heard of is the 10,000 Thumbtacks Match. Somebody was obviously smoked up the day that was invented.
