Hey, I saw a window sticker for St. Scholastica yesterday, all the way down here in Texas, and it made me wonder if that's where you went to school. Since you mentioned you'd gone to a private college.
The sticker really made me want to get the dirt on this 'St. Scholastica' (I actually remembered it as St. Academicus, and googled up the right name)--was there truly such a saint?

So I went and read up on St. Scholastica, and I have to say that I'll probably never understand the sainting process, but anybody who can call up a torrential downpour is okay in my book.
