My mom passed away Saturday night in St. Luke's Hospice.

I feel really weird writing about it here, because for a few years now this has been a place where I just write dumb jokes and TV reviews and post photos shot in dive bars. I used to vent on this site, like, several years ago, but I haven't done that in a long time.

Still, it feels strange to just jump back online and post goofy shit. It feels insensitive. But I'm not going to spill here, as I've done far too much spilling recently and I just feel spent.

Suffice it to say that my mom lived a very good life, of which I'm very proud.

I'll return with the regular bullshit sometime later this week, as that is what makes me feel good. And it's what she would have wanted.
