A bit narrow

A common scene on 12-1/2 Avenue East. I think that if I actually lived on this street, I'd be constantly livid.

I used to live near the corner of 13th Ave E & 6th St, and I always was stumped as to why the city ever built a 1/2 avenue. Every house in that neighborhood is close enough as-is without the reduction of space caused by a 1/2 avenue.

I used to live in that house on the left. I too wondered why there was a 12 1/2 -- I don't know of any other split blocks.

Among letter carriers, this route -- 580 -- is known as the worst in the city. It's full of weird addresses, alley houses, and thousands of stairs. It's a weird neighborhood for sure.

Barrett,

This clip might give you some ideas as to how to take care of a "situation" like this one.

Falling Down! That movie is a guide for modern living.

24 hours later, the car is still there.

Well, there is a 7 1/2 Ave. West off of Third Street, but it's nowhere near as egregious as 12 1/2 Ave. East.

As far as Falling Down goes, I never cared for the way the director had the little black kid grin happily when Michael Douglas unleashed the rocket launcher and possibly killed a bunch of construction workers.
