For several years, I drew a weekly comic called Occam's Razor, for a publication which no longer exists. And while I've always meant to actually do something with the hundreds of comics I have jammed into folders and sketchbooks around my apartment (book? uh ... series of comic books? uh ... zine? uh ... nothing?) I've never really gotten around to it.
Rather than let them go to waste, I eventually decided to scan them and periodically shuffle them into my blog, creating a kind of online archive for the three people who might be somewhat interested in the crap I used to draw. The problem was, my scanner was old and didn't work with Macs. Problem solved! I finally downloaded a driver to make the scanner work!
So watch out in the future for Occam' Razor comics, archived on this very site right here.
PS: I don't really draw comics anymore. I kind of realized that I hated doing it.

You may or may not have noticed that my serial comic, Ograte, has recently finished its 11-week run. I've updated Ograte.com to include all 11 pieces. It's probably not as good as reading one and then waiting a week for the next one, but reading it this way has its advantages, too.
Anyway, whether you've read some, all, or none of the Ograte story, I hope you can enjoy it now.
Also several people have asked me if I'm done drawing these characters. To that I say hell no! There is so much of the Ograte story in my head that it was extremely frustrating (but still a lot of fun) to cram so much into so few of those small frames. Ograte will return at some point, but for now I have other comic projects to attend to.
Once again, Ograte.com.

I found this while looking for a document I wanted to scan & post. I didn't find the thing I was looking for, but this'll do just fine.

I hope you've been enjoying my new comic Ograte in the Transistor. Here's an outtake that won't be published with the rest of the series.
Also, I've put the first three comics on Ograte.com for those of you who've missed one or all of them, and for the out-of-towners who don't have access to the Transistor. From now on, I'll be updating the site with new comics the weekend after they appear in print. So bookmark away.

It's been a long time since I first came up with the idea for Ograte, so I'm glad that it's finally coming to fruition. At first, I thought it should be a short graphic novel. Then I kicked around the idea of doing it as a Flash cartoon. But eventually, Adam from the Transistor asked if I had any ideas for a serialized weekly comic, and here we are.
Locals know where to pick up the Transistor, which you should do every week regardless. Out-of-towners and those who may have missed an issue should keep an eye on ograte.com, which will keep an archive of the comic running somewhat behind the Transistor schedule.

Ograte is the story of Roger Ograte, a depressed man working the nightshift at a nail factory. For a brief moment, he finds happiness. Is it too good to be true? Probably.

A while back, I asked a bunch of people to draw me a robot. This is what they came up with.
